Cookie policy

About this policy
This policy covers our use of cookies and embedded third-party services on the website only.
For information on which personal data we process, on what legal basis, how long we retain it, who we share it with, and your rights as a data subject — see our privacy policy.
What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit the website. Cookies cannot contain harmful code such as viruses.
We split cookies into three categories and ask for consent to everything beyond the necessary. Your consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time.
Cookies we use
Necessary cookies
Necessary cookies are technically required for the website to function. They are set without consent and cannot be opted out of:
- Session cookies from our hosting platform (Vercel/Next.js), expiring at the end of the session.
- A cookie from the consent banner (pg-cookie-consent-v1) that remembers your choice for up to 12 months.
Statistics cookies
Statistics cookies help us understand how visitors use the website. They are set only if you consent:
- Google Analytics (`_ga`, `_gid`, `_gat`) — retention up to 24 months.
- Google Tag Manager (container GT-M63L4QCD) — session-based.
Marketing cookies
Marketing cookies are used to target ads across websites. They are set only if you consent:
- Google Ads (account AW-17727057982) — retention up to 24 months.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — retention up to 24 months.
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the round cookie icon in the bottom-left of the page. Your choice takes effect immediately and is stored locally in your browser.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Please note that this may cause the site not to work properly, and some content may not be accessible.
Embedded third-party services
In addition to cookies, the site embeds a number of third-party services. Some load unconditionally (e.g. web fonts), others only when you interact with them or grant consent.
- Google Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads — consent required.
- Google Fonts — fonts are fetched from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google receives your IP address as part of the fetch.
- Google Maps — embedded map on the contact page. Activates on page view and shares your IP address with Google.
- YouTube — link from footer. No embed on the site.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — consent required.
- Chat widget — our own backend on publicgpt.dk. See the privacy policy for details about the chat demo.
Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy from time to time — for example when we add or remove services from the site. Changes take effect on publication. The date at the top shows when the policy was last changed.
